The Problem: Knee Replacement
You have had knee replacement surgery, its not painful, but, mobility is difficult!
You have committed to the knee replacement surgery, it was a success surgically (99% are). You had some limited Physiotherapy and have made some progress with movement. You probably have one or two common issues:
- Firstly you may struggle in straightening your leg, this makes standing and moving difficult.
- Secondly you may find bending your knee challenging, which makes walking and stairs difficult.
You may have either of above additional swelling or just a lack of movement and mobility. This is extremely frustrating as pain in the knee is in most cases not there.

The Solution: Knee Replacement
You have done your physio sessions, your exercises and can walk and stand without crutches on your knee replacement.
The knee replacement is not right, it does not move as expected, movement is harder than you thought!
You may have seen the consultant again, surgery is good and had some additional physio and feel stuck. The system I use is movement and medical devices to reduce the inflammation from the bespoke movements I work with you. This system gets your knee straight and bending as it should, enabling you to do everything you want to.
You need to do much more rehabilitation than you think or the NHS, Private Health programmes can support. That is why 90 degrees is the standard for bend rather than 120 degrees which is more difficult to attain. Walking movement is assessed in limited way to cover around the house. Stairs are looked at with crutches, but, not without, etc, etc, so what can you do?
